In 2005 I took some aerial photos using a bright orange meteorological balloon, a digital camera, and an extremely long piece of string.
Sadly because of the wind most of the 1500+ photographs are either pictures of fields or have too much motion blur - I will include some of the exceptions on this page, although see the pages for individual houses for most of the photos.
These only cover Carlton Hill (and a small part of main Carlton) as the balloon burst when it brushed a tree as I was moving it.
I would do more but getting enough helium is very expensive! If anyone has access to a high altitude drone then please let me know...
